lovely antique american ornamental wrought iron plant stand base made from a flat bar stock with black enameled finish. the late 19th century planter base features a nice arrangement of delicate ribbon end scrollwork. the original top was an italian marble that was badly damaged. makes an excellent table base for a variety of applications. measures 40 x 20 x 40 inches.
