remarkably rare early american office sign for employment made of enameled porcelain metal with vibrant cobalt blue letters. the exterior sign was removed from an early 20th century milwaukee twine factory. originally hung outside the entrance near the main offices within the factory complex. measures 30 x 12 inches. intact porcelain enameled signs like the shown above are becoming more and more difficult to find. contains four holes for mounting flush against the wall. original grommets remain somewhat intact. dates to the early 1920's. exact maker unknown.
