mid-nineteenth century dark olive cylindrical pint bottle finished with an applied tapered collar and ring. the body has high shoulders and a wide, short neck. the finish has a relatively small bore that exhibits some chipping at the lip, and slop below the ring. there are several vertical bubbles in the neck. the front of the bottle is embossed in arching block letters “highrock congress springs” with no spacing between words. a faded rock motif is centered, and below this the letters, “c & w / saratoga ny”. the bottle has a smooth base. contains crudities typical of its age and date of manufacture, including asymmetry and bubbles.
