hard to find c. 1920's vintage medical heavy gauge steel hospital room wall shelf. salvaged from the old cook county hospital located in chicago, il. the supply shelf was fabricated between 1920-30 by the frank s. betz co., hammond, ind. the freestanding spacious step-back mobile shelving rack contains six folded steel shelves welded tightly against bent tubular steel legs. the medical supply rack has been brought down to bare metal and treated with a clear coat lacquer. measures 35 1/4 x 15 1/2 x 65 1/4 inches.
