fully functional c. 1930's american art deco machine age stationary optician examination stool designed and manufactured by the bausch & lomb optical co., rochester, ny. the weighted base with incised "speed rings" is comprised of cast iron with original chrome-plate finish. the slightly tapered pedestal retains the original mint green porcelain enameled finish. the black upholstered swivel seat with added cushion is original and free from excessive wear. very clean and well maintained. stool height fully adjustable. when fully extended, the stool measures 30" in height. seat width is 20".
