very clean and simple 1940's american streamlined vintage medical hospital examination room supply cabinet fabricated by the simmons manufacturing co., kenosha, wi. the freestanding cabinet contains two matching pull-out drawers with original brushed aluminum protruding "cup" handles. the bottom compartment consists of two identical hinged swing-out doors concealing a spacious interior. similar brushed aluminum cabinet pulls remain intact. the top is comprised largely of a wood composite with uniform black enameled finish. the heavy gauge steel backsplash or rail guard is original to the cabinet. the exterior has been thoroughly brushed and treated with a clear coat lacquer. measures 28 1/4 x 17 1/4 x 33 inches.
