solid and sturdy american c. 1940's freestanding department store garment rack likely fabricated by the american fixture co., korrect-way div., st. louis, mo. the disc-shaped weighted base is comprised of cast iron. the central upright tubular steel pole contains two identical arms outfitted with end caps or flanges. the chrome and copper-plated finish remains partially intact. the display fixture was salvaged from a downtown chicago clothing store. measures 63 inches tall x 33 inches wide.
