early 20th century salvaged chicago antique american "schoolhouse" style commercial office building hallway ceiling light fixture designed and fabricated for the beardslee chandelier manufacturing co., chicago, ill. the single electric light fixture retains the original gold enameled shade fitter and ceiling canopy. the oversized white opalescent or milk glass shade is free from cracks or breaks. great overall condition, considering age. several variations available. the fixtures were removed from a chicago commercial building built in 1920.
