c. 1920's original reinforced pressed and folded cold-rolled steel "fordson" tractor diminutive tool box or chest designed and fabricated by or for henry ford & son, inc., dearborn, mich. the metal "parts" box was likely affixed to the tractor. at some point the small hinged top chest was painted black and red with the initials "b.w." located near the fixed bent steel handle. the word "fordson" is lightly embossed along the top cover. the steel chest remains in good overall condition, with two (original) mounting holes along the backside. measures 11 x 4 1/2 x 5 inches.
