single c. 1950's american industrial four-legged factory machine shop stool designed and fabricated by the pollard brothers mfg. co., chicago. il. the intact and structurally sound stool retains the original solid maple wood seat and slightly contoured backrest. the "pollard green" baked-on enameled finish is original and in good shape. the wood exhibits wear consistent with age and use. the all-welded joint stretcher bars provide support and stability. the angled iron stool was salvaged from a chicago area factory.
