single c. 1890's original and remarkably intact antique american leaded and beveled glass oversized residential transom window designed and fabricated by the foster-munger company, chicago, il. the window contains a distinctive address lightly etched within the centrally located oval-shaped panel. the address is flanked by opposed floral motifs and accentuated by two multifaceted glass jewels. each and every glass panel or piece is beveled. the lead caming is structurally sound throughout. the 19th century transom window contains the original robust oak wood sash frame. great overall condition. salvaged from a two-story graystone undergoing demolition (see images). measures 62 x 2 x 20 inches.
