remarkably well-designed pair of original c. 1930's american art deco single light electric wall sconces designed and fabricated by r. williams & co., chicago, il. the single socket sconces are comprised of ornamental cast aluminum with original hand-applied polychrome enameled finish, aged nicely over time. the baked enameled or bisque glass shades were removed, lost and/or damaged long ago. the original slip shades were fabricated by the beardslee chandelier manufacturing co., chicago, il. priced for the fixtures only, as shown in image above.
