early 1920's antique american art deco style interior movie palace auditorium illuminated exit light fixture designed and fabricated by the voight company, philadelphia, pa. the fixture contains a thick curved glass shade or "globe" the locks into a cast aluminum shade fitter with integrated socket. the stepped fitter is in good shape, but does contain a missing section along the left side. despite this, the shade fitter is structurally sound and does not impact mounting of the shade and/or the fixture against the wall. the thick glass shade contains raised or embossed glass lettering accentuated with baked red paint. this type of fixture is not found often. measures 11 x 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches.
