completely intact and rewired (i.e., braided brown lamp cloth cord) american c. 1910-20 interior chicago public school building hanging exit pendant light fixture. the richly colored ruby red glass ball globe was fabricated by the kopp glass company, pittsburgh, pa. the fixture contains a stamped yellow brass oversized ventilated "uno" fitter with original set screws. the chain and tapered canopy are original to the illuminated exit light fixture. the metallic gold enameled finish is mostly uniform throughout. excellent working condition with fully functional brass shell keyless socket. the ball-shaped glass shade contains the word "exit" on both sides in etched oversized lettering. the globe measures 6 1/2 inches tall with a 3 inch opening. measures 5 inches in diameter at the base, 37 1/2 inches long, sphere measures 10 inches.
