rare early twentieth century hardbound “builders’ hardware” catalogue published for bindley hardware co. pittsburgh, pa. the catalog is half-bound in a faded reddish leather and has a metallic gold stamped title. print date is unknown; it was published by the press of duncan & co. in pittsburgh, pa. the title page has a handwritten signature of ‘john d bronn’ of ‘rook pa’. it contains 282 pages with detailed lithographs of hardware, accompanied by dimensions and prices. renderings show incredible texture in more ornamental pieces of hardware, and there are a wide variety of locks. the catalog is intact but fragile: the hardbound cover and front end paper are completely detached, with noticeable wear to the bottom front-edge. the spine is also completely worn away, exposing the gauze super. measures 9 x 12 inches.
