very unique and all original american depression-era c. 1930's painted salvaged chicago roofline ventilator cap fabricated with the use of an old coffee can. the industrial folk art vent contains an elaborately curved directional tail that assists in the vent's rotation. the weathered and worn paint finish is consistent with age. the components were assembled with multiple rivets. the residential rooftop vent cap was mounted on a steel rod affixed to the chimney.
