remarkably intact and all original exterior residential antique american rooftop skylight featuring a hard to find copper metal framing. the clean and compact two-flat rooftop skylight was installed in 1909 by knisely & miller, chicago, ills. the double-pitched or sided skylight contains a total of six matching reinforced chicken wire glass panels free from breaks, cracks or replacements. the overall condition of the skylight is rather impressive, considering age. one side contains the elbow exhaust or ventilator pipe with a pyramidal-shaped or conical top. the copper flashing retains the original nicely aged surface patina.
