original and intact antique american industrial brushed bare metal pressed and folded steel student or library incandescent lamp designed and fabricated by or for the apollo electric company, chicago, il. the company is commonly known for their jeweler lamps, with nickel, chrome or brass finish. the table or desk fixture contains a circular-shaped weighted base with fanciful pedestal supporting two brass arms. the deep bowl shades with rolled rims are in good overall condition. the c. 1930's dual-light lamp was rewired at some point in time. the base contains an on/off toggle switch. the manufacturer label remains attached to the base. shade measures 9 7/8 inches in diameter. lamp measures 22 1/2 x 10 x 23 3/4.
