completely intact c. 1930's antique american medical pressed and folded heavy gauge steel hospital operating or examination room side table and/or cabinet. the streamlined style compact cabinet was salvaged from a south side chicago hospital or clinic (now defunct). the compartmentalized cabinet retains the original heavy cast iron detachable tabletop with black porcelain enameled surface and/or finish. the single cabinet door and evenly spaced pull-out drawers retain the original black bakelite handles. remains structurally sound and sturdy. the brushed metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat finish. fabricated by the clark & roberts mfg. co., indianapolis, ind. measures 17 1/2 x 16 x 33 1/4 inches.
