original and intact american medical c. 1930's pine and polar wood benchtop sterilizer cabinet salvaged from a cook county hospital research laboratory. the diminutive cabinet was possibly fabricated by the frank s. betz co., hammond, ind. the pressed and folded steel base contains a uniform brushed metal finish, sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the cabinet retains the original chrome-plated surface mount hinges and handle or latch. the interior contains a painted white finish. the viewable interior contains a removable shelf. measures 12 x 9 1/2 x 19 inches.
