heavy duty late 1930's original and strongly built american industrial portable pressed and folded steel "parts" machine shop storage cabinet or box possibly custom-built or fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. company. the hinged top is secured with a welded joint lockable hasp for use with a padlock. the two opposed drop handles are original and in great working condition. the parts box has been brushed and sanded down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the robust cabinet contains a spacious, undivided interior. measures 12 x 12 x 9 inches.
