fully functional late 1930's vintage american industrial cold-rolled steel circular disc joint machine shop workbench task lamp designed and fabricated by or for the chicago die casting mfg. co., chicago, il. the adjustable lamp contains three point of articulation, in the form of graduated steel discs interconnected with tubular steel arms. the specially made base contains multiple holes for mounting flush against a workbench, wall or ceiling. the versatile fixture retains the original yellow brass turn key socket and ventilated uno fitter with set screws. the pressed steel green enameled "slim helmet" reflector remains in great shape, considering age. measures 48 inches long.
