early 20th century american vintage medical freestanding hospital operating room instrument cabinet designed and fabricated by the hospital supply company, new york city, ny. the four-legged robust cabinet is comprised of cold-rolled heavy gauge steel with mostly uniform brushed finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the fully enclosed and secure cabinet contains a single hinged cabinet door with original spun yellow brass knob pull. the removable undershelf is made of folded steel and is capable of holding considerable weight. the spacious interior is divided by a detachable shelf. measures 20 x 16 x 55 1/2 inches.
