old american industrial stationary work stand comprised of steel pipe fittings brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the work stand was salvaged from a recently shuttered chicago-based tool & die factory machine shop. the steel pipe table base supports a heavy duty recycled solid maple wood tabletop salvaged from a bowling alley lane. the thick and heavy top can withstand substantial wear and tear. the interlocking maple wood top has been refinished and treated with a clear coat sealant. the repurposed table is structurally sound and stable. measures approximately 26 x 20 1/2 x 34 inches.
