highly sought after original early 20th antique american medical robust cold-rolled steel and iron hospital operating room supply cabinet designed and fabricated by the columbus aseptic furniture co., columbus, oh. the remarkably robust upright cabinet contains a set-back cabinet with two hinged doors with clear panes of glass. the remainder of the cabinet consists of swing-out or pivoting drawers and cabinet doors. the top right cabinet door retains the original beveled edge pane of glass. the six diminutive instrument drawers that swing outward are outfitted with faceted "crystal" glass knobs or drawer pulls. the two bottom cabinet doors with surface mount hinges retain the original multifaceted glass knob pulls. the heavy duty medical cabinet retains the original manufacturer's tag or plaque on the backside of the cabinet. the exterior has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures 30 1/2 x 15 x 62 inches. top measures 31 1/4 x 9 5/8 x 19 1/2 inches.
