truly exceptional c. 1930's american art deco interior residential electric ceiling light fixture retaining the original honey colored ornamental pressed glass slip shades. the fixture itself is comprised of cast iron with original steel chain and decorative canopy. contains a large bottom shade held in place with original "stepped" final. the leviton socket cluster (six sockets total ((five around, one down) is original to the fixture. the uniquely shaped pressed glass shades feature staggered sides with curvaceous bottoms. the intricately designed embossed floral motifs are typical of the deco period. likely fabricated by the globe lighting fixture mfg. co., brooklyn, ny. measures 13 1/4 x 24 inches.
