nicely preserved all original early 1930's antique american industrial chicago service station lightweight pressed and folded steel gas pump island battery and oil can display rack possibly fabricated for the great northern battery company, milwaukee, wisc. the exceptional freestanding display stand retains the original orange and black enameled finish over steel. the bent tubular uprights support four folded steel shelves with the two topmost shelves having a cut away configuration (intentional) for product display. the front edges of each shelf retain the original riveted joint sign or placard holders. the outdoor filling station display rack has been lightly cleaned and sealed to preserve the nicely aged surface patina. measures 43 1/4 x 10 x 47 inches.
