largely intact late 19th century two section golden oak interior built-in cabinet salvaged from a c. 1890's chicago graystone residence undergoing demolition. the china cabinet or built-in was fabricated by the foster-munger company, chicago, ills. the upper section retains the original projecting crown supported by flanking fluted pilasters. the two cabinet doors retain the original old wavy glass, butt hinges and cabinet latch with keeper. the adjustable shelves and beadboard back are intact with original varnished finish. the recessed mirror is original. the midsection shelf bows outwards. the lower section features multiple pull out drawers with nice raised panels. the drawer hardware was removed long ago. overall, the cabinet remains in excellent shape, considering age. measures 72 x 96 x 22 inches.
