refinished vintage american industrial freestanding stationary double-arm factory workshop task lamp salvaged from a tungsten wire factory located in chicago. the t-shaped dual light task lamp is comprised largely of threaded end steel pipe brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the two yellow brass shell sockets with paddle switches were manufactured by the general electric company. the matching rolled rim parabola-shaped reflectors or shades with patented socket fitters were fabricated by the faries mfg. co., decatur, il. the circular-shaped flange was mounted directly against the workbench. several matching fixtures available. each fixture has been refurbished with period appropriate braided cloth cord and plug. measures approximately 24 x 18 x 5 inches.
