late 1940's vintage american industrial stationary heavy gauge cold-rolled steel garment factory workstation fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the repurposed work table contains a refinished maple wood top with beveled edges. the machine age style cabinet features a module consisting of four sliding drawers with streamlined style drawer pulls or handles. the open-ended interior contains ample leg room with unique angled steel footrest. the triple-joint articulating task lamp with slim helmet shade or reflector is bolted tightly against the left side of the cabinet. both desk and lamp have a brushed steel finish with clear coat lacquer treatment. very compact and highly functional. measures 28 x 17 x 32 inches.
