original and intact late 19th century repurposed vintage american industrial tall table with a refinished birch tabletop with maple wood tongue and groove edging. the stationary cast iron base was fabricated by or for the w.f. & john co., rockford, il. the minimalistically designed lathe machine bases boast very clean and curvaceous lines with a strong sense of solidarity. the bases are interconnected with a heavy gauge threaded solid steel stretcher mounted below the tabletop. the flared feet contain pre-drilled holes for anchoring into the floor. the vintage factory table measures 4' x 2' x 3' feet.
