matching pair of c. 1929 highly polished nickel-plated ornamental cast bronze pilaster urn finials salvaged from the first national bank and trust company building, east chicago, ind. the classical revival style finials feature tapered urns with egg & dart trim and torch. the interior bank lobby pilasters were positioned between each teller cage. the first national bank was designed by architect/engineer john rahn in the neoclassical style. the bank was robbed in 1934 by john dillinger. the finials measure 8 inches in height, with a 3 inch base. priced in pairs. 4 pairs/sets available.
