original c. 1930's american antique ornamental cast iron wall-mount theater lobby double arm sconce, possibly fabricated by markel electric products, buffalo, ny. the refinished (i.e., brushed iron) wall sconce contains two "electric candles" featuring keyless sockets concealed by period appropriate "dripping wax" sleeves. the spanish baroque style sconce was salvaged from a chicago area atmospheric theater or movie palace. the mostly uniform brushed metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the on/off dial switch is mounted between the two outswept arms supporting the candles. there are three matching fixtures available. priced individually. measures approximately 10 x 4 x 11 inches.
