original early 20th century antique american industrial refinished american industrial flexible yellow brass gooseneck arm machinist task lamp with a slightly tapered solid bronze metal weighted base. the oversized brushed brass gooseneck arm was fabricated by the faries mfg. co., decatur, il. the green enameled "slim helmet" reflector or shade with yellow brass shade fitter was fabricated by harvey hubbell. the p & s key or paddle switch incandescent lamp socket has been rewired with period appropriate braided cloth lamp cord. the table or workbench lamp has been thoroughly refinished and treated with a clear coat lacquer.
