very clean and functional repurposed american industrial factory machine shop base coffee table containing a newly added handcrafted top consisting of two poplar wood slabs accentuated with three solid walnut wood butterfly joint inlays. the reworked industrial table contains two matching low-lying heavy cast iron factory machine bases fabricated by the w.a. jones foundry and machine company, chicago, ill. the bases have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a cleat coat lacquer to prevent surface corrosion. the wood slab tabletop has been planed, sanded and sealed. very robust and structurally sound multipurpose industrial furniture piece. measures approximately 38 x 28 x 24 inches.
