matching set of original early 20th century antique american industrial cast iron factory machine shop bases possibly fabricated by the w.a. jones foundry & mach co., chicago, ills. the two bases have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the bases are free from cracks or breaks. the brushed metal bases original were used to support an old lathe from a chicago machine shop. priced for the pair.
