two matching original 19th century american eastlake style ornamental yellow brass "ceylon" pattern interior residential doorknobs designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct. the dome-shaped passage door handles contain a mostly uniform surface patina throughout. very popular pattern (several variations exist) used in homes between 1880-1905. priced for the pair. quantity available. recently salvaged from a chicago victorian cottage built around 1889. measure approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
