unique c. 1940's american industrial low-lying stationary all-metal four-legged stool possibly used for milking on a farmstead. the bent tubular steel base may have been fabricated by the adjusto equipment co., bowling green, oh. the reinforced cast aluminum seat was likely added after the existing stool had been greatly modified. the swiveling stool seat contains a multitude of holes or perforations possibly for ventilation purposes. the lightweight stool has been brushed and sanded down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. seat diameter measures 13 inches, seat height measures 11 1/2 inches, seat diameter measures 13 inches.
