all original well-maintained c. 1950's american made vintage industrial four-legged stationary stool designed and fabricated by the pollard brothers, chicago, il. the single factory machinist stool retains the original desirable "pollard green" baked enameled finish over riveted joint iron. the slid maple wood circular-shaped seat and slightly contoured backrest are in great overall condition with very little surface wear evident. the low-lying stool was salvaged from a chicago metal stamping factory. several variations available from this stool manufacturer. base measures 13 1/2 inches, seat height measures 21 inches, with backrest at 35 inches, seat diameter measures 14 inches.
