original and intact american made c. 1900's telescoping factory office typewriter stand featuring cabriole style cast iron legs. the exact fabricator is not known. the hardwood top was removed long ago. the adjustable height stand retains the original dial or handle used to secure the tubular steel support in place. the circular-shaped heavy gauge steel plate is welded tightly against the central support. mostly uniform brushed metal finish.
