very unique vintage american industrial articulating arm machinist workbench "sta-put" task lamp fearing a multitude of unusual reinforced cast aluminum friction ring ball-and-socket or swivel joints. the c. 1940's fully adjustable lamp contains a heavy duty shell socket with red on/off toggle switch. the parabola-shaped rolled rim steel reflector contains graduated concentric rings around the dome. the base plate contains two opposed pre-drilled screw holes for mounting flush against a bench, wall or ceiling. very simple, sleek and lightweight. exact fabricator unknown. thoroughly cleaned, brushed and treated with a clear coat lacquer.
