original and intact c. 1940's refinished american vintage industrial compact stationary machine shop workbench or table with the adjustable metal base fabriated by the lyon metal products company, ill. the nicely weathered ad worn pine wood tabletop with a three-sided rail guard had been cleaned, lightly sanded and sealed. the fully adjustable four-legged base with outswept and/or curved extensions is comprised of pressed and folded heavy gauge steel with a brushed and sealed metal finish. the workbench is unique in size and shape. solidly constructed throughout. salvaged from a factory specializing in the fabrication of parts for the aerospace industry. measures 32 x 23 x 32 1/4 inches.
