heavily reinforced stationary vintage american industrial cast iron salvaged chicago factory machine base possibly fabricated by or for the baldor electric company, st. louis, mo. the brushed metal pedestal with flat base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the newly added top is comprised of old growth pine wood boards salvaged from an 1870's chicago commercial building. the top can easily be replaced with any number of materials. the factory machine base is free from breaks or cracks. 17.5d x 30w x 35"h
