refinished c. 1920 stationary american antique medical heavy gauge cold-rolled steel hospital operating room instrument cabinet designed and fabricated by m. weiss & company, newark, nj. the low-lying stationary instrument and treatment cabinet contains centrally located hinged doors flanked by identically configured pull-out drawers. the cabinet doors contain intact clear plate glass. the raised panel drawers retains the original chrome-plated knobs or pulls. the cabinet ois supported by a strong and sturdy four-legged base. the original lightly embossed yellow brass manufacturers plaque is mounted below the two doors. the brushed metal finish has been sanded and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. salvaged from a indiana state hospital. measures approximately 36 x 16 x 29 3/4 inches.
