original and intact late nineteenth century colorless or light aqua hutchinson blob top soda bottle manufactured for chicago bottler henry weaber. the tall, slim body is finished with a squat neck and unusually shaped applied blob top. the thick glass is embossed on the front body "henry weaber / chicago/ ill", around an ornate monogram logo which is flanked by the words "trade / mark / registered". crudities are typical of its age and date of manufacture, including allover seeding, and minor surface wear or discoloration from having been dug. henry weaber operated at 685 fulton street at the turn of the century.
