refinished late 19th century american antique ornamental cast iron freestanding saloon or pub table featuring a newly added burled oak wood tabletop with solid walnut butterfly joint. the brushed metal decorative iron pedestal base was designed and fabricated by r. rothchild's sons co., cincinnati, oh. the solid circular-shaped oak wood top has been sanded and sealed. the three-legged base with outswept feet has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer to prevent surface corrosion. base measures 22 1/2 inches, table top measures 25 1/2 inches, height measures 28 3/4 inches.
