repurposed antique american three-legged saloon or pub table plant stand with newly added tongue & groove oak wood square-shaped tabletop. the ornamental cast iron table base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the turned and tapered pedestal style stationary base was designed and fabricated by the american saloon fixture co., chicago, il. the diminutive tabletop contains quartered oak wood salvaged from the chicago athletic association building (completed in 1893). the plant or display stand can be used in a variety of design applications.
