impressive 19th century antique american original passage size interior residential ornamental cast brass banded rim doorknob possibly designed and fabricated by f.c. linde & co., cresskill, nj. the dome-shaped doorknob features a visually distinctive eight-sided star with a centrally located floral rosette. the single residential doorknob contains a picket fence border above the protruding circular-shaped band. the design elements are found on the backside of the doorknob. the black enameled inlay greatly accentuates the fine casting detail. a total of four doorknobs with matching rosettes are available. priced individually. measures 2 1/4 inches in diameter
