original and unrestored 19th century intact interior residential unornamented cast iron pocket or sliding door hardware salvaged from a chicago residence constructed in the late 1880's. the four matching cast iron escutcheons retain the original bower-barff finish. the two matching mortise locks contains solid brass face plates with functional push buttons and sliding handles used to pull the doors from their pockets. the hardware was fabricated by the p. & f. corbin company, new britain, ct. priced for the lot. no key available. mortise lock measures 1 1/8 x 7 1/2 inches and escutcheons measure 2 1/4 x 5 3/4 inches.
