c. 1890's american antique "ceylon" pattern interior residential sliding or pocket door mortise lock fabricated by the p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct. the unornamented lock retains the original oxidized copper-plated finish along the face plate. the lock "box" is comprised of cast iron with intact baked black enameled finish. the sliding brass handle (actuated by the button below) is in working condition. the cast brass finger lock remains intact. measures approximately 1 x 3 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches.
